FAQ

Things people ask before signing.

How quickly can you start?

Most engagements start within 5 business days of contract signature. Productized packages (Codebase Audit, RAG Pipeline Starter) can begin within 48 hours.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. We have a standard mutual NDA we can send over, or we'll redline yours. We've signed 30+ to date.

Where do your engineers sit?

Our HQ is in India (UTC+5:30). About 60% of the team works on-site; the rest are remote across India and the EU. We commit to 2 hours of overlap with EU clients and 3 with US East Coast.

Fixed price or T&M?

Both. Productized packages are fixed price; custom studio engagements are typically time-and-materials with a not-to-exceed cap. Retainers are flat monthly.

Who owns the IP?

You do. All work-product is assigned to you on payment. We retain rights to generic patterns and reusable libraries that aren't specific to your domain.

Do you work with early-stage startups?

Yes, that's most of what we do. Our Startup Tech Consulting practice exists for it. We don't take equity in lieu of cash, but we do offer reduced rates for pre-seed and seed companies on specific packages.

Can you help us pass SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / HIPAA?

Yes. The SOC 2 Type I sprint is a 10-week productized engagement. ISO 27001 and HIPAA follow similar patterns. We bring auditor relationships.

Do you do mobile apps?

Yes, React Native is our default. Native iOS/Android only when there's a real reason (deep platform APIs, AR, etc.) Everything else is RN with native modules where needed.

What industries do you work with?

Mostly fintech, legal tech and AI-first SaaS, plus healthcare where compliance is the hard part. We care more about the shape of the system than the sector: payment rails, document pipelines and regulated data all rhyme.

Can you work with our existing stack?

Usually, yes. Most of our work starts with a codebase that already exists. We'll tell you plainly if something in it needs replacing rather than extending, and why.

Do you support what you build after launch?

Yes. Our Production Operations retainer covers monitoring, on-call, model retraining and ongoing security work. If we built it, we're on the pager.
